2013 Annual Business Meeting on Saturday, 29 March 2014

It has been three months since our 2013 HKAUW Scholarship Presentation & Christmas Dinner on 14 December 2013. Hope you have all been making good progress with your lives!

We are most pleased to be able to hold our 2013 ABM at the yet-to-be-opened Jockey Club Innovation Tower (JCIT) at the PolyU on 29 March. JCIT is designed by the world-famous Zaha Hadid, the only female architect who is on a par with the world’s top male architects. JCIT will, in no time, become the most famous architecture in Hong Kong!

Before our scheduled ABM at 4 p.m., we have also arranged a guided tour at 2 p.m. of JCIT and the exhibition therein which is designed to commemorate the grand opening of JCIT, “THE NEXT 50: Layers of Design Creativity from Hong Kong”. The exhibition aims to be a collaborative effort revisited and imagined by seasoned creators and future cross-disciplinary innovators. As the guided tour has a limited capacity of 20, do send in your replies soonest possible. Come to stretch your understanding of the past, the present and the future of the world of design in Hong Kong!

Upon the completion of the ABM, the EXCO will meet and exchange thoughts with members present to discuss HKAUW’s community services as well as other topics of concern for 2014, to be followed by dinner together at PolyU.
